Yard Waste Recycling Centers

The District operates two Yard Waste Recycling Centers that accept woody waste (brush, limbs, firewood, etc.), grass clippings, leaves, and other organic matter from Hendricks County households. Material collected at the centers will be recycled into mulch. The Centers are open from April through November; closed for major holidays. Fees are charged for using the centers. Cash and checks are the only payment methods we can accept.

Restrictions: customers are responsible for unloading all material. Only organic material from Hendricks County homes is to be left at these facilities. Businesses are asked to use other facilities to recycle the material they generate. Tree stumps, root balls, sod, soil, building materials, and plastic bags cannot be deposited at the Yard Waste Recycling Centers. Material may be left in paper bags. Firewood may be left at the Centers free of charge for others to pick up to use.

Pricing is determined by the attendant on duty.
Payment must be made by cash or check.
CONTAINERS, BUNDLES & BAGS  
  Up to 32 gallon $1.00 each
  45 to 50 gallon $2.00 each
  96 gallon or more $3.50 each
  Bundles of Sticks up to $1.50 each depending on size
TRUCKS AND/OR TRAILERS  
  6′ capacity $6.00 and up per load
  7′ capacity $7.00 and up per load
  8′ capacity $9.00 and up per load
  12′ capacity $18.00 and up per load
  14′ capacity $22.00 and up per load
