All Tox-Away Days are for Hendricks County homeowners only- no businesses.

We hold five Tox-Away Days a year at different locations around the county.  They are on Saturdays from 8 am to 1 pm.

Please note: Latex (water-based) paints are not accepted at Tox-Away Days- they should be dried out completely and then put in your regular trash.  All oil-based, stains, varnishes, will be accepted at no charge.

Accepts: Antifreeze; Large Appliances; Batteries Alkaline, rechargeable, and automotive); Brake Fluid; Computers & Components; Digital Photo Frames; DVD Players; Gasoline & Old Fuel; Fluorescent Light Bulbs; Fire Extinguishers; Medications (No illicit drugs. Medicine should be kept in their original packaging. Personal information may be removed); Medical sharps; Mercury-containing items; Motor Oil; Oil Filters; Office Machines; Paint & Paint products (no water-based paint); Pesticides & Fertilizer; Power Steering Fluid; Propane Tanks; Radios; Smoke Detectors; Stereo Equipment; Tablets; Tires; Transmission fluid; TVs; VCRs; Video Game Equipment;
