Free Wood Chips Available

Residents are encourage to help themselves to wood chips located at the District’s Yard Waste Recycling Center in Brownsburg (90 Mardale Drive). The center is open from 7am to 5pm on Tuesdays, Fridays and Saturdays. Interested residents can call 317-858-8231 with questions.

Now that nicer weather is finally here, it’s time to get out and enjoy the great outdoors! Perhaps your summer plans include picnicking or hosting a backyard barbeque. These are wonderful times of making memories with those you love. They can also be very environmentally friendly activity with just a little extra planning.

Community Grant Awards Announced

Each year the District earmarks $20,000 to provide grants to fund local projects that further the District’s mission of promoting recycling, waste reduction and responsible waste management in this community. On April 28, 2015, the District’s Board of Directors approved the funding of four grant requests the District received during the spring round of the Community Grants Program.
