Youth Education is a cornerstone of the District’s mission. Each year, hands-on, interactive environmental education programs are provided to over 10,000 Hendricks County students across all school districts. Popular programs include, “Who Polluted White Lick Creek?”, “How Do They Do That?”, “Reduce, Reuse, Recycle” and “Worms are Eating My Garbage!”
The kids love the programs because they provide an exciting, engaging way to learn. Teachers and administrators love them because nearly all the programs satisfy state academic standards!
