Here’s your chance to beautify and support local environmental programs at the very same time.
Avon Tri Kappa is selling 9″ mums to support the good work of the Avon Outdoor Learning Center. A variety of colors are available: orange, yellow, pink, white, red and aster. The mums are $8 each. Orders are being accepted through September 4th and will need to be picked up on Saturday, September 12th from noon to 4pm at the Avon Outdoor Learning Center. When you go by to pick up your mums, be sure to take time to explore the OLC, enjoy some refreshments and other fun. The a link to the order form is below. Questions? Additionally, the Hendricks County Soil and Water Conservation District is taking orders until August 31st for its annual Tree Sale. 
Trees purchased through the program will need to be picked up at the Hendricks County Fairgrounds on October 10th between 8:30am and noon. See the brochure and order form below for descriptions of the available trees and ordering information. Questions? Contact the SWCD at 317-745-2555.
