Now that 2015’s underway, we’ve had a chance to look back at the work we did last year and tabulate the results.
OUTREACH & EDUCATION
Environmental education is the cornerstone of what we do. Each year, nearly 10,000 Hendricks County students receive interactive, environmental programs that highlight the “how” and “why” of conservation, stewardship and sustainability. Last year was no different. Check out our infographic to learn more.
TOX-AWAY DAYS
The District’s Tox-Away Days are very popular with Hendricks County residents. 2014 was a banner year with over 3,300 people utilizing the events to recycle hazardous waste, tires, electronics and appliances. Click below to learn how many pounds of material was dropped off and more about last year’s events.
RECYCLING
The community took advantage of the District’s Yard Waste Recycling Centers and Recycling Drop-off Centers last year as well. This infographic shows results for those programs.
